Do not settle for information found in only one source. Check, recheck and confirm as best one can.

Genealogies of the O'Donoghues

Members and guests wishing to have their family history data shown on this page should be guided by the following

  • You should assign as distinctive a name as possible to your family group to enable others to identify easily with the data
  • If information pertaining to people alive today is to be shown, the onus is on the member or guest to ensure that their relatives have agreed to its public portrayal.

Members can review and search all the trees shown.  Guests are limited to the tree they have submitted, but they have the advantage of knowing that a member may get in touch if a match is found.

If you, as a member, are checking out the trees, read the Description first – this is a brief text summary of the family group and allows you to see if the data may be relevant to you.

Clicking on the Family Tree Reference will enable you to view the full pedigree data set.  A search can be carried out via the Shared resources page.

Some of the full pedigree data sets, where linked to genealogical web sites, fail.  I will try and sort those out over time.
